Cookie Policy

This cookie policy explains how the Aurex Developments website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your computer, phone or tablet. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), a website may only store or read this kind of information on your device if it is strictly necessary to provide something you have asked for, or if you have agreed to it.

2. Cookies we set

We do not set any cookies of our own. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not store anything in your browser's local storage.

3. Third-party services on our website

Google Maps (contact page only)

Our contact page shows a map provided by Google Maps. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set or read its own cookies on your device, for example to remember your settings or for Google's own analytics and advertising purposes. These cookies are not strictly necessary for our website to work. Google controls them, not us. You can read more in Google's explanation of how it uses cookies.

If you would rather Google did not set cookies, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings. Our address is also shown in writing on the contact page, so you do not need to use the map.

Google Fonts

Our website uses fonts from Google Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies.

Our website host

Our website is hosted by Netlify, which receives technical information such as your IP address so that it can deliver our pages and keep the website secure. Netlify does not set cookies on our website.

Links to other services

Our website links to WhatsApp and to other websites. Those services only receive information about you if you click the link, and their own cookie and privacy policies then apply.

4. How to control cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:

• see which cookies are stored and delete them
• block third-party cookies
• block all cookies, or all cookies from particular websites
• delete all cookies when you close your browser

Blocking cookies will not stop our website working, although the map on our contact page may not display properly. The ICO has guidance on cookies for the public, and aboutcookies.org explains how to manage cookies in different browsers.

5. Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies or similar technologies used on our website, we will update this policy. The date it was last updated is shown at the top of this page.
